Potal sheet is an ultra-thin sheet made with the addition of a pure metal alloy, ideal for creating unique metallic effects on any surface. They are widely used in the gilding technique, regardless of whether it is traditional or non-traditional gilding. Potal gradually oxidizes (which is facilitated by the copper in its composition). To prevent this process, it is recommended to protect the gilded surface with varnish.
